Bold Hues & Meaningful Touches: Anne Marie + Eric’s Wedding Stationery

Weddings & Events

Weddings are at their most beautiful when they reflect a couple’s story. Anne Marie and Eric wanted theirs to be exactly that — a joyful celebration of color, culture, and travel, filled with bold hues, fair-trade elements, and thoughtful details for their guests. A huge thank you to Stephen Dray Photography for capturing all of it so beautifully and to Alexis Allen for her planning, vision, and design.

I had the privilege of designing a vibrant, eclectic invitation suite and coordinating details that wove their story throughout the celebration. Every element was chosen with intention. Below you’ll find a look at the stationery, signage, and décor details that made their day so unique.

The Invitations

The invitation suite included a letterpress invitation wrapped in handmade fabric sourced from Uzbekistan and purchased at Loom here in Pittsburgh. Inside, colorful, custom-shaped inserts added a playful pop and carried the palette through each piece. My friend Kati of Topaz Thimble cut and sewed each belly band, making every invitation feel like a one-of-a-kind keepsake.

Day of Stationery and Signage

Guests were greeted by the vibrant “Linked by Love” seating chart — produced by SpeedPro Imaging — which displayed each name alongside handmade friendship bracelets from Guatemala supporting education projects there (The Fair Line).

After finding their names and taking a bracelet, they followed colorful, wood-block table numbers featuring acrylic numbers produced by my friend Stephanie of Mitten and Lakes to their seats.

At each place setting, menus included a note explaining all the special touches and global craftsmanship woven into the celebration.

The bar sign, also produced by Mitten and Lakes, used the same fabric as the invitations alongside sleek etched and filled acrylic.

The florals by Hens and Chicks tied everything together with bold, fresh color, complementing the rentals from the 1978 Collection at The Gem on the Allegheny. The entire look felt welcoming, festive, and deeply personal.

Bringing Anne Marie and Eric’s colorful, travel-inspired vision to life was such an honor. Seeing all the details come together on their wedding day reminded me why I love creating stationery and event pieces that tell each couple’s unique story.
